We spent the day in Hot Springs National Park. It’s a city with thermal hot springs in the center of town! Our first stop was the observation tower atop Hot Springs Mountain. The visitors center is housed in the Fordyce Bathhouse, an Edwardian era bath house. There are still two operational bathhouses in town. The Buckstaff offers a more traditional experience but we opted to soak in the thermal waters in the Quapaw Bath House. The temperatures in the four pools ranged from 97 to 104 degrees. It was very very relaxing!

I’ve never been in a hot spring, just a hot tub. A spring sounds like more fun.
