We invite you to explore the places we’ve visited by scrolling down and clicking the green buttons or regions on the maps.

We are Steve & Karen and we fell in love with cross country travel in 1973 when we honeymooned on a long rambling tent camping trip. Since retirement we regularly hitch up our nüCamp [email protected] 400 teardrop trailer and venture out for long rambling trips to visit national parks and historic sites as well as family and friends spending six or more months a year on the road. When we’re on the road we blog at least daily featuring the places we visit and the comforts we enjoy along the way.

Historic Sites

For the most part we weren’t particular fans of the boring history classes that we had back in our school days but we love these historic places that really bring the people and events to life!

By State

Another way to explore is to click on an individual state. There you will find not only all the National Parks and Worthwhile Places but posts about additional campgrounds, restaurants, and interesting highways.
