  • a riot of color

  • Guatemalan Cotton

  • And samples

  • The weave structure in black, white, & gray

  • and colors

  • Lots of color combinations

  • We wound balls

  • and made our warps

  • and made our warps

  • and reels

  • in various colors

  • Then we warped our looms

  • Helping one another

  • And overcoming problems

  • Thursday night we visited the Purple Moon

  • To see Mayan Hands products

  • and admire the workmanship

  • The colors are amazing

  • The variety fascinating

  • Cute hats too!

  • Finally on Friday

  • Things came together

  • We had our warps on the looms

  • Figured out what we were doing

  • Got the tension right

  • And got down to weaving

  • Experienced Weavers

  • And newer weavers

  • All got encouragement and

  • Affirmation from one another

  • A final warping demonstration

  • Taught each of us a little more

  • All in all

  • We got it right

  • and learned a lot

  • We made beautiful samples

  • Some like the Guatemalan samples

  • And some very different

  • A variety of experiences

  • All from Guatemalan Cotton!
