It’s been nearly 33 years since we graduated from college yet we both still have most of our textbooks and class notes. Today was a beautiful day and the two of us spent it on the back deck sorting through these old notes and getting rid of a lot of them. We’ve save a few representative notes for ourselves and a few notebooks to pass on to our kids, but most of the bulk have gone the way of all good things.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
