The two of us spent Saturday night and Sunday in Tampa with Greg and CJ. Steve and Greg did a guys weekend at Greg’s apartment. Greg took his Dad on a tour of John Knox Village where he works in the Maintenance department. Karen spent the night watching chick flicks with CJ at her apartment and toured the USF Campus with an emphasis on the buildings where CJ takes classes. We finished up the weekend by watching the Superbowl at Greg’s apartment.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
