One of the joys of living downtown is the walk to work. Often we will spend some of the early morning on the balcony and enjoy the sunrise. Then when it comes time to head out to All Children’s, Karen puts on her walking shoes and takes to the streets of St Petersburg. Steve will usually stand on the balcony and wave, and watch until she is out of sight.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
