A walk through downtown and memories of days gone by. New construction where the old Aunt Hattie’s restaurant building was recently demolished, the lovingly restored Perry Snell house on the USF-SP campus, and the Mound Park Hospital building nestled in the middle of the Bayfront Medical Center campus.
 
 
A visit to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden gave us insight into the evolution and role of public transportation in the creation of London as a great metropolitan area.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
