Lunch in Lexington

Family

We broke camp in Clinton in the mist and headed north. We arrived in Lexington, Kentucky around noon and had a delightful lunch and afternoon visit with cousins Phil and Jill. After lunch we were able to spend a little time with Anna, one of their triplets, before heading into Cincinnati and lodgings at the Howard Johnson’s. We soothed our souls that evening with a little chocolate, a gift from all our friends at Schakolad back in St Petersburg.

Cape Town: African Wildlife Adventures

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
