Early morning found us at our mountain house succeeding at shoehorning our possessions into the downstairs bedroom. We were so successful that when we left it did not look at first glance that we had added anything more than two chairs. After spending some time dreaming about actually living there we climbed into the monster truck and drove until we finally arrived at Dave, Rhonda, and Riley’s in Ohio.
 
 
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
