This will be a day we will long remember. We woke up to a snow covered landscape. We promised ourselves when we moved here that since we are retired that when there was snow on the roads that we would not go anywhere. Although there are projects to do around the house, we took the day off and watched news coverage of Inauguration Day.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
