The remodeling project began in earnest yesterday. One of the first projects was to replace the old electric tank water heater with a new propane tankless water heater. It was a two day project so when we returned home with our guests last evening we discovered we had no hot water. But tonight the situation is much better. We have unlimited hot water. Anybody a long shower or a deep tub bath?
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
Sounds luxurious!
