We two, two of Karen’s sisters, one brother, one niece, and one nephew settled into the St Charles Inn in San Antonio FL and parents Bud & Cathie joined us for a pizza dinner. Then in an impromptu moment we all gathered on the front porch for Mother and Dad reminiscing about their dating days back in Cincinnati.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
