After a wonderful overnight visit with Ben & Lynda at their fabulous, nearly completed, dream home and someday retirement home, we indulged in fried seafood at Sir Cricket’s then visited Plymouth Rock – appropriate for Thanksgiving weekend – on the way back to Greg & Rachel’s place and a cozy evening.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
