Stopped by Dave’s office before we headed down the road. It was good to get a peek at the environment where he spends much of his time and to get an idea of some of the research that he does! Had a pleasant drive home. It was clear and sunny much of the trip. Glad we choose to drive today rather than on a rainy Sunday. And very glad to be home.
A visit to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden gave us insight into the evolution and role of public transportation in the creation of London as a great metropolitan area.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
