Last year it was a Charlie Brown Christmas tree that we cut down in the woods nearby. This year our Christmas tree is a live Fraser Fir that will grace our living room adorned with lights and ornaments. Then after the big day, we’ll plant it in the woods below our house and continue to enjoy it for many years to come.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
