There is still a lot of snow in our driveway and on our road but once we got all the dense icy snow off the top of our Trailblazer we ventured out onto the clear roads and went shopping. Initially we intended only to go as far as the Ingles and the Lowes in Sylva but ended up venturing all the way to Franklin.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
