Broke camp in East Sparta and headed north to the Great Lakes. Our revised ramble plans are to skirt the Great Lakes as we make our way east. From Canton we made our way to the neighborhood of Akron then east to Vienna and north on US 11 to UA 20 and slightly west to Geneva State Park on the shores of Lake Erie. Set up camp on Site 42 (Life, the Universe, and Everything) and opened the refrigerator. Oh no, not again! It wasn’t working. Then it was. Then it wasn’t. A couple of phone calls later and Ed from Pleasant Valley was on his way. Yes, he actually drove up from Sugarcreek to troubleshoot and repair our system. It was a faulty in-line fuse. The good news is that the fuse was redundant so merely removing it from the line and reinstalling the refrigerator was all that was needed. Thank you, Ed, for making a five hour round trip drive to make life good in our little T@B
Cobh on Our Own
For our first adventure together on the Emerald Isle, we walked the streets of Cobh, County Cork, explored St Colman’s Cathedral, and visited the Cobh Heritage Center.
Now that’s customer service.
