We’re camped in Lake Bistineau State Park south of Shreveport, Louisiana. After we arrived we realized we’d camped here before – in August 1984! We were on our way home from a family gathering in Santa Fe. We set up camp after dark and when we awoke the next morning we were enchanted with the view of the bayou out of our camper window. Today we arrived in the mid-afternoon and enjoyed an evening of leisure in camp.

Cape Town: African Wildlife Adventures

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
