One of the features of living in a rural area is the variety of animals you can encounter in the road. Most places you can come across dogs and cats crossing the road or even using the road to get from here to there. Squirrels are pretty common too. Here though, we enjoy even more variety. Chickens and other farm fowl, wild turkeys, geese, rabbits, or an occasional goat. Today it was Bossie ambling along our local mountain road. And a quarter mile later a groundhog scurrying across the road!
National Portrait Gallery
It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.
