After a pleasant rainy morning at home with Michael and Emily we ventured out for a trip to town mid-afternoon. First stop was to Heinzelmännchen, our Gnome Town Brewery for a flight of local brews and a glass of root beer. Then on to the bridge between the parks for an unsuccessful geosearch under said bridge. We’re not truly trolls nor did we encounter any. From here we’ll stop at Eric’s Fish Market then head back to Tween Creeks for dinner on the deck.
Aboard Jewel of the Seas, a favorite ship of ours, we enjoyed a foray into the history and geology of Canada’s Atlantic coast while enjoying the joys of friendships, longtime and new. Now we’re looking forward to returning to the same ship for further adventures!
Thanks to the organizational skills of Mandy & Kgreat weekend of endrick, the amazing support of their team, and the sponsorship of nüCamp RV we enjoyed a great weekend of camaraderie and fun at the Northeast Rally. Gathering with fellow teardrop aficionados is always an enriching experience and this gathering in the Adirondacks was no exception.
Over a long weekend we sampled some of the myriad things to do in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, unique among national parks for it’s environmental reclamation, historic preservation, and recreational opportunities adjacent to the populous cities of Cleveland and Akron in northeastern Ohio. Can’t wait to return and explore more.
