It’s a tradition that dates back to 1973. On September 1st we go out for Steak and Eggs. The tradition started at The Carousel Inn on Reading Road when we were offered a complimentary breakfast and our server suggested the Steak and Eggs. Today we consulted Yelp and chose Lisa’s Kitchen because of a review that mentioned the Steak and Eggs as being nicely prepared. Our visit started out a bit rocky when we navigated to the address listed in Yelp.
Bletchley Park
It was at Bletchley Park that the Allied Codebreakers deciphered German military messages during the Second World War. A free guided tour gave us a good overview of the campus and the activities that occurred here from 1938 to 1945.
