This morning we vacated our campsite at Miami Whitewater Forest six days sooner than planned. It’s been an absolutely glorious summer. NC, GA, AL, MS, AR, LA, TX, OK, TN, KY, OH, PA, NY, MA, NH, VT, MI, WI, MN, IL, & IN! That’s twenty-one states! Lots of family and friends visits. Many battlefields, presidential and other historical sites! Quite a few national, state, county, city, and coe parks as well as a few private campgrounds. More than a few geocaches. And lots of beautiful scenery! Can’t wait to hit the road again after a stay at Tween Creeks!

Cape Town: African Wildlife Adventures

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
