Teardrop Community

2016 Out West, Minnesota, Road Trip

We T@B and T@G owners expect to attract attention in the campgrounds we visit. Actually anywhere we go, gas stations, rest stops, grocery store parking lots. Folks are curious about these cute campers and want to learn more. And we’re accustomed to being the only teardrop in the campground. But once in a while we find fellow teardrop travelers and discover an immediate bond. So it was with Ryan and Tasha. They’d seen our T@B first but we met when we spotted their T@G on a walk through the Lake Itasca State Park campground yesterday evening as they were waiting for friends with an R-Pod to arrive. This morning we gathered around our T@B to compare notes and swap stories about the teardrop experience!

National Portrait Gallery

National Portrait Gallery

It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.

Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park

It was at Bletchley Park that the Allied Codebreakers deciphered German military messages during the Second World War. A free guided tour gave us a good overview of the campus and the activities that occurred here from 1938 to 1945.

Fenton House and Spaniards Inn

Fenton House and Spaniards Inn

A lovely way to spend a Sunday in Hampstead. We visited the historic Fenton House to view lots of lovely collectibles, to listen to and learn about harpsicords, and to tour and linger in the garden before heading off to the historic Spaniard’s Inn for a most delectable Sunday Roast.
