Shenandoah National Park, Virginia’s Skyline Drive, Mile Marker 51, Big Meadow Campground, Site C-131. Walk In only, non-reservable, no hookups, generator permitted, nicely situated for solar but with shaded area for chairs. Back in site with woods behind for a degree of privacy and a view of trees through the stargazer window! Predicted temperatures just about perfect. Peanut butter, crackers, and dried fruit for lunch and a grocery store just down the road. Waterfall hikes nearby. Ranger talk at the amphitheater tonight. Everything we need and then some!
