Tonight was one of the reasons why we carry our black and white dance shoes in our T@B. Jane introduced us to the Tuesday night Swing Dance at The Champlain Club in Burlington. We loved the vibe. Michael played a nice selection of eminently danceable tunes. A beautiful dance floor illuminated by hundreds of tiny white lights served as the backdrop for a great evening with new dance friends. A wonderful reminder that dance is good for the soul!
For our first adventure together on the Emerald Isle, we walked the streets of Cobh, County Cork, explored St Colman’s Cathedral, and visited the Cobh Heritage Center.
Our brief stop in Portland Port in Dorset, England yielded just enough time to get a tiny taste of the historic town of Weymouth, a Cream Tea, and a desire to return.
After a guided bus tour of the City of Belfast we visited the Titanic Belfast Museum located at the Harlan & Wolff shipyard where the great ship was built.
Thought of you both Sunday night, we were at a Florida Orchestra concert and the first part was swing music!
