Haircut in New Jersey

2018 Northeast, New Jersey, Road Trip

Shall we say that getting a haircut while on the road even under the best of conditions is not a stress free experience as Ray Stevens warned us back in 1985? But it’s not always possible to go back home when the locks get long. Today’s experience was complicated by New Jersey’s traffic patterns and local drivers. We got lost twice trying to find a Great Clips, our usual choice, and ended up instead at a shopping mall housing a haircut mill with barbers waiting for customers. Steve ended up with a shorter than expected but rather decent haircut from a barber that may or may not have had the language skills to understand what Steve was asking. We’ll just say, it was a cultural experience!
