They’re a camping tradition that can be traced back a very long time. The first recipe for S’Mores dates back to a 1927 Girl Scout guidebook and our own personal memories of the gooey treat date back quite a few decades. Cripple Creek KOA stages a S’Mores Campfire every summer Saturday at 7PM, weather permitting. Fortunately the weather cleared this evening and we were able to join other campers in roasting marshmallows to sandwich with chocolate between graham crackers. It was fun to join in, meet fellow teardrop campers Barb & Steve, and watch Deric savor a sweet treat!
