See Park Video Early this morning we returned to Carlsbad Caverns and this time we entered through the Natural Entrance, past the Bat Flight Amphitheater where we remember watching the bat flight at dusk one evening in September 1974. No bats there today though....
This morning in Santa Fe we wakened to snow patched on the ground, snow flurries in the air, and black skies to the north. So of course we headed south - to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, near the town of Carlsbad, New Mexico in the southeastern corner of the state....

Departing aboard the Norwegian Pearl on a repositoning cruise as the first leg of a three month adventure.
It was a fabulous opportunity to not only view the 2024 Solar Eclipse from within the path of totality but also to enjoy a five day weekend with friends from the T@B trailer community at Ohio’s East Harbor State Park on the shore of Lake Erie.
Spent a most enjoyable March sunny day watching alligators and hiking in St Mark’s National Wildlife Refuge south of Tallahassee, Florida.
