After a day spend scrubbing, cleaning, vacuuming, and so on in an attempt to leave our apartment as pristine as it was when we got it, we treated ourselves to an evening of dance and friends at Nova 535 the newest of Jamie & Arleene’s swing dance venues. It’s a fabulously renovated art gallery and social gathering place. We toured some of the party rooms and hobnobbed with friends old and new as well as danced with one another and with friends.
 
 
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
