Very much enjoyed the hospitality of Karen’s sister Patti and her husband Mark and their furry housemates. Got to spend time with niece Rebecca and her special guy, Will. On Monday evening we had a delightful visit with Karen’s sister, Alice. On Tuesday afternoon we headed north into Oklahoma. Â
A visit to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden gave us insight into the evolution and role of public transportation in the creation of London as a great metropolitan area.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
