The End and The Beginning

2008 West--35th Anniversary, Road Trip

Today was a day for doing little errands and reflecting on the fabulous journey that we have just completed. We have traveled more than 16,000 miles and visited 27 states. We’ve been as far north as the Canadian border, as far west as the Pacific Coast, as far south as the Rio Grande. We’ve visited 35 National Parks, Monuments, and Forests, not to mention awesome state parks and other historic sites. We’ve learned so much more about our fabulous country and about ourselves. It’s been an incredible adventure to be homeless with ATM cards. Then today we began setting up utility accounts and getting ready to establish our household here in Western North Carolina.
P.S. It’s predicted to get down to 20 degrees F tonight.
