Our Wood Stove

Family

The days are getting warmer. Perhaps soon we will not need the woodstove heat. But for now we often make a fire in the morning and another in the evening to heat the house. It’s an old Morso, this model hasn’t been made for twenty-five years. Back when we built the house, we had the stove installed as the primary heat source. Sometimes we enjoy the ambience of the fire with the stove doors open but mostly it’s for heat. We’re getting to know the stove and what it takes to keep the fire going to keep us warm.

Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park

Fenton House and Spaniards Inn

Fenton House and Spaniards Inn

A lovely way to spend a Sunday in Hampstead. We visited the historic Fenton House to view lots of lovely collectibles, to listen to and learn about harpsicords, and to tour and linger in the garden before heading off to the historic Spaniard’s Inn for a most delectable Sunday Roast.
