Mount Vernon, home of the First President George Washington, mecca to many Americans. The house tour was crowded but sitting on the porch gazing at the Potomac was relaxing. And listening to “Martha” talk, checking out the museum, and wandering among the outbuildings was educational. There is so much to do, see, and learn that you can’t do it all in one visit. We’ll have to return.
