So if we were to opt for home delivery for our mail, this is the place to which it would be delivered, a bank of individual mail boxes down along the paved road. It’s a nice hike on a nice day such as today, only 1.15 miles round trip taking at least twenty minutes and a 200 foot elevation gain on the return trip!
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
