With her cover on, antifreeze in her pipes, a small space heater to keep extreme chill out of the interior, Sc@rlett is ready for her winter’s sleep. It’s good to be back at the house for a while and to snuggle in in front of the fireplace but we’re already making plans for the next adventure. Perhaps an outing or two this Spring and definitely a grand adventure come Summer!
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
