After yesterday’s adventures along blue highways, we overnighted at the Laramie KOA and headed out this morning along the interstate highway with no particular plans until we approached Cheyenne, Wyoming and noticed a brown sign. Next thing we knew we were parked on Central Avenue just outside of the Wyoming State Museum immersing ourselves in all things Wyoming. From the Jurassic Age to the Twentieth Century, from a Yellowstone Touring Wagon to a Sheep Wagon, from sugar beets to a Carnegie library, we took a wonderful trip through Wyoming history and capped it off with a fun conversation in the gift shop. It was a great way to finish our Wyoming visit!
Cobh on Our Own
For our first adventure together on the Emerald Isle, we walked the streets of Cobh, County Cork, explored St Colman’s Cathedral, and visited the Cobh Heritage Center.
I didn’t make it there. Looks great! Next time:)
Remember to plan to return. You can’t eat everything on the menu of a fine restaurant the first time you visit!
