Last night when we were chatting with Laura, we mentioned how much we enjoy Johnson Estate Wines in Westfield, New York and she agreed, especially their Red and White Ipocras, spiced wines. It’s the oldest farm winery in New York State. We’ve visited a few times since we first discovered this place in 2013. Today we stopped to acquire some White Ipocras as well as sample some Cherry wine. In the process we had a delightful conversation with Matthew about the hundred year history of this family fruit farm turned vineyard and award winning winery.
