In between the mid-afternoon and the evening recital performances Dave, Amy and the two of us wanted a bit of refreshment and at Amy’s suggestion the two of us indulged in some Adult Milkshakes at Pav’s Creamery in North Canton, Ohio. Son of Matuta and Double Irish Trouble more than hit the spot. We can highly recommend it for an occasional special treat.
A visit to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden gave us insight into the evolution and role of public transportation in the creation of London as a great metropolitan area.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
