Tonight is the last of four one night stops this week. We stayed here at Big Snow Ski Resort near Wakefield MI last year on a Friday night. That time we were among several Harvest Hosts guests. Tonight we are the lone camper and have a prime spot in the shade with nearby bright sun for our portable solar panels, but there’s a motorcycle rally here all weekend so we’re not alone. As conscientious members, we adhere to the Harvest Hosts Code of Conduct including being a customer so we dined this evening at the Sky Bar, at the top of the ski slopes, with Kate as our delightful server. Dinner was Fried Pickles and Taco Salads washed down by fine Widow Maker Black Ale from the Keweenaw Brewing Company in nearby Houghton MI. Now we’re enjoying the shade and expect to enjoying lingering a bit tomorrow morning since we have only a one hour drive to our next destination. Life is good!
