Spent the day enjoying the Caribbean sun and surf. Watched the parasailers and wondered if we were watching our friends Mike & Mary. Kept count of the number of umbrella drinks consumed by friend Ed. Back on board ship we relaxed until evening then enjoyed another night of fun and as much dancing as we can fit into one evening.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
