Greg turned 25 years old today. Thankfully he agreed to drive over from Tampa to join us for a low-keyed celebratory dinner at Applebee’s on Fourth. With three fractured ribs, Karen didn’t want to go too far afield for the celebration but it was good to be with our middle kid on a landmark birthday.
 
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
