Today was Day 3 and the most fun of the race weekend. Our little party of a dozen people suddenly mushroomed into nearly forty people after we invited a few of the folks in the hallway to come see our view! It’s been a crazy, noisy, and totally fun experience.
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
