What were we thinking? The house had plain drywall painted contractor white until Steve painted it back in January/February. Then we had the opportunity to strip the popcorn off the ceiling and add texture to the walls. We decided to go ahead but didn’t realize that it would completely chase us out of our house. Thank heavens we have a camper and therefore a place to sleep!
Bath, England is an amazingly inviting place with deep deep history. One little day trip isn’t anywhere near enough but we did enjoy delving into the history of the Roman Baths, basking in the beauty of Bath Abbey, and topping our visit off with Tea and Bath Buns!
Today’s excursion to The Victoria & Albert Museum established in 1857 gave us a glimpse into the Victorian world and a chance to see some glorious originals and copies up close.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
