Monday and Tuesday Steve B. came and downed a poplar tree for us as well as a big black walnut limb that had broken off in a storm. He turned that an a mess of other cut wood into split firewood piled helter skelter in the driveway. Today after two hours of stacking, and just three pieces from being finished, part of one pile came tumbling down. Guess it’s time for a cup of tea.

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
