We traveled down to Naples to visit Pat and Tom. Steve is related to Pat two different ways. She is a third cousin through one line and a second cousin once removed through another line. We met their three more generations of the family. Their daughter and her husband, their granddaughter, and their great-grandson. We spent some time talking family history and in the process discovered a fact that leads us to suspect that Tom may be a distant cousin of Karen’s!
National Portrait Gallery
It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.
