Cape Charles

Family

In the 1930’s Uncle Len and Aunt Anne moved with their three sons from Cincinnati to Cape Charles, Virginia, where he worked as a machinist for Heekin Can Company and where their youngest soon was born. We drove through this delightful little town and based on census records and a family photo from the era, we found the house, just a block from the Chesapeake shore, where they lived and so many family members traveled to visit with them.
