After yesterday’s walk along the shore of of Big Portage Lake and our overnight stay in the Waterloo State Recreation Area we added the Michigan mitten sticker to our map. This holiday weekend  we are staying outside of Oscoda MI near the western shore of Lake Huron. Guess that means we’ll add another of the Great Lakes stickers soon!Â
Our adventure in Halifax was an extremely informative visit to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic coupled with a beautiful walk from the ship and back again.
It was a fabulous opportunity to not only view the 2024 Solar Eclipse from within the path of totality but also to enjoy a five day weekend with friends from the T@B trailer community at Ohio’s East Harbor State Park on the shore of Lake Erie.
