Blountstown is a small town in the Florida Panhandle at the intersection of two state highways just west of the Appalachicola River. Most folks from outside the area have not heard of it and it’s enough off the beaten path that through travelers don’t even pass through. And although we’ve known of it ever since Barbara Jo, a Blountstown daughter, roomed with Karen when they were both pharmacy students, and we’ve traveled the Panhandle many times, this is only our second visit to the town and our first trip to Main Street. The folks at Connie’s Kitchen make a fine breakfast!
National Portrait Gallery
It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.
