Our rules regarding the map on the side of the T@B say that we must do something interesting and also spend at least one night in a state before we can add the state sticker to our map. Last summer we drove through a portion of Iowa on our way from Minnesota to Illinois but didn’t stop so the Iowa space stayed empty. Now though we’ve visited a couple sites in Winterset and spent a night at Winterset City Park so we can fill in that space. Iowa is the 43rd state we two have visited in our T@B since late July 2013. Five more to go to fill in all of the contiguous 48!
National Portrait Gallery
It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.
