Last night we stayed at a family owned campground just north of Waynesboro VA where we took the opportunity to shop for groceries at the local Kroger. As we were poised to depart this morning we met JustJohn, a fellow T@B owner. He’d pulled in later than we did last night and will be staying a few nights to do some fishing. As we compared notes on our T@Bs we realized we’d met before at the 2016 gathering of teardrop campers at Atwood Lake!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
